    Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) women's soccer coaches selected Guilford College's Jada Daniel and Lauren Baber to their Second Team All-ODAC squad, league officials announced Tuesday. Senior midfielder Amanda Sperr represented the Quakers on the All-ODAC Sportsmanship Team.

The unassisted tally marked Baber's fourth of the season and her team-leading third game-winning goal.

The Maroons improve to 8-6-2 overall, 6-2-1 in the ODAC. Guilford slips to 7-10 (5-4 ODAC) after losing its final home match of the year.

The Quakers' fourth win in five matches improved their record to 6-8 overall, 4-2 ODAC. Randolph slips to 5-10 (1-6 ODAC).

    Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) soccer coaches picked Guilford College's women's team sixth and the Quakers' men eighth in their annual preseason polls Wednesday. Virginia Wesleyan College owns the top spot in the 12-squad women's poll by seven points over defending league champion Lynchburg College. Virginia Wesleyan, the defending regular-season ODAC men's soccer champion, is first in the 11-team rankings by six points over 2007 league-tournament champion Roanoke College.
