Quaker Track and Field Teams Competed at Last Minute Invitational 

SALEM, Va. -- The Guilford College track & field teams competed at the Last Minute Invitational on Saturday. The meet was hosted by Roanoke College and featured primarily Old Dominion Athletic Conference competition. 

Jeremiah Hedrick recorded a distance of 13.16 meters in the triple jump. His mark was the second-best in Guilford history. Hedrick was second in the triple jump and the long jump, where he finished with a 6.23M mark.  

Asa Bell was fourth of 23 runners in the 200M dash. The sophomore clocked a 23:47 time for the Guilford.  

Coach Marty Owens' Quakers return to action on Thursday night (2/7) in the JDL Team Challenge. The event begins at 5 p.m. at the Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C.
