Quaker Men Competed at the Dr. Toms Inivitational

LYNCHBURG, Va. – Guilford College's track and field teams had a handful of entrants for Saturday's open portion of the Dr. Jack Toms Alumni Track & Field Invitational hosted by Lynchburg College.

No school records were set, but freshman Asa Bell was second in the 100M after an 11.20 clocking. 

John Martinez placed third in the 800M. His time was 2:07.46. Fellow sophomore Juwan Houston garnered a sixth-place finish in the 200M after posting a 23:42 mark.

The Quaker track and field teams next compete at the Terrier Relays. The two-day meet is hosted by Wofford College in Spartanburg, S.C. and begins on Friday, March 30.
