  • Guilford Pair Earns All-ODAC Honors

    Guilford College placed five students on the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's (ODAC) All-ODAC Men's and Women's Tennis squads, league officials announced Wednesday. Junior Will Mason-Deese was named Second Team All-ODAC at first singles and first doubles with classmate Alec Chase. Senior Hilary Routon captured Second Team All-ODAC recognition at fourth singles and the Quakers' Nina Bollag and Liz Killion were so honored at first doubles.
  • Latimer, Mason-Deese Win Weekly ODAC Honors

    Guilford College's Peter Latimer won his second straight Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Golfer of the Week Award and Will Mason-Deese captured the league's Tennis Player of the Week Award Monday. Latimer also received the Guilford College Student-Athlete of the Week Award, presented by the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC).
  • Guilford Ranked in Preseason ODAC Tennis Polls

    Guilford College's men's tennis team was ranked fifth in the preseason Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Coaches' Poll released Wednesday. The Quakers' women's tennis team earned the number-nine spot in the ODAC's women's preseason poll. The league's head coaches selected both polls.

    A new era of Guilford College tennis dawns this spring as the Quakers’ men’s and women’s teams begin play on the new Dorothy Ragsdale McMichael ’37 Centennial Class Courts on the northwest corner of the Quakers’ campus. In addition to the new courts, second-year head coach Eddie Luck assumed coaching responsibilities of Guilford’s women’s tennis team, unifying the coaching post for the first time. Luck welcomes back four letter winners from last season’s club that recorded a 10-9 overall record and reached the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Tournament semifinals.
