  • W&L WINS 10TH STRAIGHT ODAC MEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP

    The Washington and Lee men's tennis team won its 10th-straight conference championship, claiming four singles flights and all three doubles flights in the 2005 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championship held at W&L. The Generals tallied 85 points and were followed by Roanoke (76), Guilford (66), Hampden-Sydney (53), Lynchburg (53), Bridgewater (43), Virginia Wesleyan (39), Emory & Henry (35), Eastern Mennonite (27) and Randolph-Macon (12).

    Guilford College freshman Caleb Kimbrough received the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's (ODAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week Award for the week ending April 10, the league announced Monday. Kimbrough is Guilford's first recipient of the prize since the league started offering it in 2003.
