The Quakers shot six-under 282 as a team and hold a two-shot edge over Ohio Wesleyan University. Defending tournament titlist Greensboro College and defending NCAA Division III champion Wittenberg University share third place after shooting 292 Saturday.

Guilford sophomore Kell Graham is in a three-way share of 11th place following an opening round of 71. Teammates Josh Hill and Harrison Frye both shot an even-par 72 and are in a group of six sharing 16th place. Rookie Addison Manring made his college debut with a 76, as did classmate Jack Lee, who is playing as an individual.
