Parker Ends College Career in All-Star Game

GREENSBORO, N.C. (12/10/10) – Guilford College's Justin Parker concluded his college football career Dec. 3 in the D-III Senior Classic All-Star Game in Salem, Va. The second annual contest featured some of the top seniors in NCAA Division III football based on application and committee selection.

Parker, a wide receiver, made five receptions for 35 yards with a long catch of 11 yards for the South team. The North ended up winning the close game, 26-18 count. Dan Winsey gave the North a 20-18 lead by kicking a 33-yard field goal with two seconds left. The North's Leer Biddle scored on a 30-yard fumble recovery on the game's final play to determine the final margin.

Parker is the second Guilford student-athlete to participate in the all-star game. Linebacker Richie Paul '10 played in the inaugural D-III Classic in 2009.
