The Wasps (5-5, 3-3 ODAC) end the year on a three-game winning streak, while the Quakers (2-8, 1-5 ODAC) lost their final three contests.

    Guilford junior Brian Person (Hope Mills, NC/Havelock) earned third team recognition on the 2002 Football Gazette All-South Region Division III Football Team Wednesday. Players were nominated by sports information directors and coaches from throughout the NCAA Division III South Region, which includes 61 institutions and extends from Pennsylvania to Texas. A panel of sports information directors selected the regional teams.

Also for Randolph-Macon, senior quarterback Hunter Price (Charlottesville, VA/Albemarle) completed 17-of-28 passes (60.7%) for 160 yards and one touchdown, and became the ODAC's career pass completions record-holder. He also scored two rushing touchdowns.
