    Head coach Gene Baker starts his seventh season as Guilford's baseball coach with 20 letter winners, including seven starters, back from last year's 27-14 club that reached the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament for the second straight season. Despite the graduation of some of the top offensive players in school history, Baker believes the Quakers can compete for another trip to the tournament where the winner earns the ODAC's bid to the NCAA Division III playoffs.
  • Guilford's Miller Earns Jewish All-America Baseball Honor

    Guilford's Josh Miller (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) earned a spot on The Jewish Sports Review's 2004 College Division All-America Baseball Team. The team is listed in the July/August issue of The Jewish Sports Review and is comprised of NCAA Division II and Division III student-athletes who have been identified to the publication as Jewish.
  • Quakers' McCauley, Miller earn All-State Recognition

    Guilford senior A.J. McCauley (Pittsburgh, PA/Plum) and junior Josh Miller (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) earned spots on the inaugural North Carolina Collegiate Sports Information Association (NCCSIA) College Division All-State Baseball Team. The squad consists of NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA student-athletes from North Carolina colleges and universities. North Carolina sports information directors submitted nominees and NCCSIA members selected the team.

    Guilford College junior Josh Miller (Teaneck, NJ/Teaneck) earned Second Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Baseball honors Wednesday. The league's nine head coaches selected the annual all-star teams.

    Jay Moore tossed a complete-game shutout, scattering three hits in nine innings as Lynchburg defeated Guilford, 4-0, in Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) baseball action Monday.

    Bridgewater College swept an ODAC baseball doubleheader Saturday from Guilford, winning the first game 12-5 and the second game 9-4.
  • Quakers Sweep Weekly ODAC Awards

    Freshman pitcher Logan Collier (Winston-Salem, NC/North Forsyth) and sophomore first baseman Rob Bittner (Wilmington, DE/Salesianum) were named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's (ODAC) Pitcher and Hitter of the Week, respectively. The league office made the announcement Monday.
  • Savannah College of Art & Design Splits Series with Guilford

    Sophomore Ty Mankovitch and senior Chris Tirro each drove in three runs while senior pitcher Rich Fallat tossed a complete game as the Savannah College of Art and Design baseball team defeated Guilford College 8-2 Sunday afternoon at Grayson Stadium.
