  • One of Guilford’s all-time best punters, he was picked as an NAIA All-American in1974 in his senior season. 
  • He was a pivotal member of the 1974 team, under first year head coach Dennis Haglan , which went 6-3-2 and played in the Poultry Bowl and Jamieson Stadium in Greensboro.
  • Won virtually every honor available that year, including All-America, All-District, and All-Conference. 
  • The Greensboro Daily News  named him as its All-State punter for 1974, and he also picked up All-District and All-Conference mention in 1972 and 1973.
  • Also competed in track for the Quakers, graduated in 1975 and played for the Dallas Cowboys the same year. 
  • Currently a hotel general manager in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area.
