  • Earned his master’s degree at University of North Carolina at Greensboro
  • Served as head baseball coach from 1985-97
  • During his tenure, Guilford won the 1992 and 1993 Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships
  • Received the 1992 ODAC Coach of the Year Award for the conference (1992)
  • Took the 1993 team to a school record 30 wins and the programs first appearance in the NCAA Tournament
  • Taught at Glenn High School in Kernersville, N.C.
