Guilford Women Finish 24th at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional

HAMPTON, Ga. – Jasmine O'Neill paced Guilford College's women's cross country team at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Cross Country Championships Saturday. 

O'Neill completed the six-kilometer race in 25 minutes, 32.16 seconds, her career-best and eighth-fastest in Guilford history. She placed 90th in the 184-woman field.  Rebecca Reyna ran 26:46.96, a career-best time that ranked 126th overall. Emily Cash finished 148th in a season-best 28:02.10.

Pasangi Perera ran a career-low 28:21.73 and Colleen Gonzalez finished fifth on the team in 31:40.86.  Jamie Luckhaus (33:31.97) and Rachel Flint (36:22.86) rounded out Guilford's finishers.

Guilford's Old Dominion Athletic Conference-foes Washington and Lee University and Bridgewater College took fourth and fifth place, respectively.
