SEGUIN, Texas – Guilford College's women's cross country team placed 23rd among 30 teams at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Regional Championships Saturday. The Quakers scored 597 points at the meet and matched the program's best regional finish in school history. Saturday's race determined the regions' team and individual contestants in next week's national championship race in Wisconsin.

Guilford sophomore Anne Mogavero completed the six-kilometer course in 24 minutes, 45.4 seconds, which placed 41st in the 197-runner field.
