ROANOKE, Va. (11/5/10) -- Third-seeded Virginia Wesleyan College rallied for a 25-18, 17-25, 22-25, 25-12, 15-9 victory over number-six Guilford College Friday night in an Old Dominion Athletic Conference Tournament quarterfinal. The Marlins (23-9) advance to the tournament semifinals to play second-seeded Randolph-Macon College, which defeated Bridgewater College, 3-0.
Guilford concludes its best volleyball season since 1995 with a 16-13 overall record.
Traci Teague paced the Quakers with 13 kills. Teammate Brittany Freeman added eight kils and 18 digs. Taylor Phillips chipped in with 33 digs and Taylor Whitley added 30 assists.
