HICKORY, N.C.---Three different Guilford College records were broken as Guilford Women's Track and Field opened the 2013 outdoor season at the PowerSox Invitational, hosted by Lenoir-Rhyne University.  Guilford was one of two Division III schools participating in the event amongst a Division II field.

Jennifer Thomas set new school records in the 100 meter dash (13.95 seconds) and the 200 meter dash (29.61 seconds).  Thomas's 200 meter time was the second best Division III mark.

Rachel Flint set the school-best mark in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:09.85, beating the previous mark by 3.12 seconds.

Rebecca Reyna (2:37.00) took seventh in the 800 meter run.  Her time marked the third best finish in school history.

The 4x400 meter relay team of Flint, Pasangi Perera, Reyna, and Emily Cash took eighth with a time of 4:42.35.

Guilford returns to the track March 15 and 16 when the Quakers compete at the Wake Forest Open.
