LYNCHBURG, Va.---Jennifer Thomas broke two school records as Guilford College Women's Indoor Track and Field placed eighth at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships at the Tolsma Indoor Track Center in Lynchburg, Va. on the campus of Liberty University.
Thomas led the Guilford women, breaking her own school records in the 60 meter dash (8.54 seconds) and the 200 meter dash (29.16 seconds). Thomas broke her 60 meter dash record by .26 seconds while breaking her 200 meter dash record by .89 seconds.
Rebecca Reyna broke her own season-best time in the mile run with a time of 5:52.01, placing eighth. Reyna improved on her season-best mark by 3.43 seconds.
Rachel Flint (1:07.90) set the season-best mark in the 400 meter run by .98 seconds and broke the school record by .81 seconds.
Emily Cash (12:39.44) improved on her season-best 3,000 meter run time by 28.25 seconds.
The Quakers turn their attention to the outdoor season, which begins March 15-16 when the Quakers compete at the Wake Forest Open in Winston-Salem, N.C.
