Guilford Lands Two on All-ODAC Women's Soccer Team

2012 All-ODAC Women's Soccer Team

FOREST, Va. - Guilford College senior Jaclyn Nucci and junior Caroline Bishop earned Third Team All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) honors Tuesday. All-conference nominations and selections were made by the league's head women's soccer coaches.

Nucci, a 5-8 midfielder, started 18 of the Quakers' 19 games for this season. She did not score any points. Nucci played in 38 games during her two seasons at Guilford. She amassed 16 points on six goals, including one game-winner.  Nucci also had four assists in the 2011 season. A criminal justice major she now turns her attention to basketball where she is a starting forward for the Quakers.   

Bishop, a 5-1 defender, started 16 of the Quakers' 19 games this season and totaled one assist and 11 shots. Her assist came Oct. 24 against league-rival Emory & Henry College. The three-year letter winner has played in 55 career matches.

Coach Eric Lewis' Quakers ended the season with an overall record of 4-15 and a 3-9 record in the ODAC. Lewis expects 18 letter winners to return in 2013, including Bishop.
