  • Guilford Honors 2010 Nereus C. English Award Winners
    March 15, 2010
    Four elite Guilford College student-athletes received the 2010 Nereus C. English '26 Athletic Leadership Award Monday evening. This year's English Award recipients are seniors Peter Latimer, Tyler Sanborn, Ann Seufer and Alex Starbuck. Since Guilford first presented the honor in 1977, 179 students have received the English Award.
  • Guilford's Ann Seufer Named Second Team All-ODAC

    Two Guilford College seniors received All-Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) basketball honors Wednesday night. Ann Seufer earned Second Team All-ODAC, and Alexa Williams was an honorable mention All-ODAC pick. The all-conference teams and special award winners were selected by the league's head coaches and recognized at the ODAC's annual banquet at the Salem Civic Center.

    Guilford College senior Ann Seufer is one of 54 students chosen for the Women's Basketball Coaches Association's (WBCA) eighth annual So You Want To Be A Coach Program. The two-and-a-half day workshop will be held in conjunction with the WBCA's National Convention and the NCAA Division I Women's Basketball Final Four April 2-4 in San Antonio, Texas.

The Quakers’ (12-9, 9-7 ODAC) third straight victory earned a sweep of the season series with the Hornets (4-16, 3-12 ODAC).

Senior Ann Seufer captured Guilford's first ODAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week Award of 2009-10 as well as the Guilford Student-Athlete of the Week Award, presented by the school's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC). Senior Tyler Sanborn earned his third ODAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week Award and rookie Allison Semmler was named the ODAC's Swimmer of the Week.
