Guilford Men's Track Competed at Vince Brown Invite

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. -- The Guilford College indoor track and field teams competed on Sunday at the Vince Brown Invitational, hosted by Christopher Newport University.
 
Juwan Houston recorded a time of 23:45 in the 200M. He was ninth of 51 entrants in the event. Dwayne Duncan Jr. leaped 12.20M in the triple jump. He was tenth in the finals. Asa Bell and Josephus Mitchell recorded identical 7.17 times in 60M semifinals.
 
In the mile, four of the 37 runners were Quakers. Kieran Arbury (4:55.95) was 20th and Caleb Anderson clocked a 4:56.59 and was 21st. Colin Dossel (5:04.36) and Etsu Fujita (5:28.33) placed 24th and 34th respectively.
 
The Quakers next compete at the UCS Invitational. The meet is at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem on Friday (2/15).
