WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- Dylan Skinner broke his own school record in the 800-meter run (1:57.68) Saturday to highlight Guilford's men's track and field team's performance at the JDL Fast Track College Invitational.  The sophomore shaved three seconds off of the previous standard he set last year.

Teammates Chad Norton and Johnathan Smith had strong performances as well.  Norton set a personal best in the 5000 with a time of 15:41.22, while Smith notched the second-fastest 200 time in school history, 22.81.

David Cason ran the 3000 in 8:58.05, the third-best time in school history. He also teamed with Josh Farrar, Joseph Rangel, and Skinner to post a time of 3:36.04 in the 4x400-meter relay.

Guilford returns to action February 24 at the Old Dominion Athletic Conference Championships in Lynchburg, Va.
