Noah Ratner

GREENSBORO, N.C. – Guilford College's Noah Ratner earned the Old Dominion Athletic Conference's (ODAC) Golfer of the Week Award Monday. This is the first time Ratner has received the award this year, but he has been a recipient of the honor 10 times throughout his career.

Ratner shot 72-72-73-217 to place him in a tie for eighth-place in the Golfweek D3 Preview Oct. 14-16. He had Guilford's best finish in the 90-men field. His eighth-place finished helped Guilford place 10th in the 18-team field. Ratner is fourth in the ODAC with a 74.0 stroke average, which leads the team.

Ratner has helped his team earn fifth-place in the Golf World/Nike Golf Division III Coaches' Poll. Second-year coach Corey Maggard's Quakers are rated 11th in the current Golfstat.com Division III Head-to-Head Standings. Ratner and his teammates are hosting their annual home invitational, the O'Briant-Jensen Memorial, Monday and Tuesday at the Cardinal Golf and Country Club.
