Guilford's Parker to Play in Division III All-Star Game November 29, 2010 Guilford College receiver Justin Parker has been invited to the second annual D-III Senior Classic, hosted by the Collegiate Development Football League (CDFL). The CDFL is a competitive football league meant to train football players 18-24 years of age for post-high school play. The D-III Senior Classic showcases the top 90 seniors in NCAA Division III with a North vs. South all-star game. Players are invited to play based on application and committee selection. The Senior Classic takes place this Friday (12/3) at Salem Stadium in Salem, Va. Tickets cost $10 and will be available at the gate. The game will also be broadcast on line.
Guilford's Ben King Earns All-ODAC Honor November 23, 2010 GREENSBORO, N.C. (11/23/10) -- Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) football coaches honored three Guilford College students on the 2010 All-ODAC Football Team, league officials announced Tuesday. Wide receiver Ben King received second-team honors. Senior Brice Carlson and junior Chris Jessup were named honorable mention.
